Sparklers DT: Hello Spring ATCs

Busy week and after the splendid experience in collaboration with Jen (I love her cut and printable file),  here I am with a new project, the last for this month.

I made four ATC in which I still used Floral cut file by Jen.
I painted the canvas  with black gesso: the next step was to create an iridescent accent with Shimmerz paint, Tutti Frutti and Sea U in the morning, using a stencil.

Then I used  portions of the floral cut file that I placed on each mini card, I added the simple colored thread, a few pieces of different patterned papers. This has created the basis to place the four butterflies, one on each ATC. Butterflies, different from each other, are printed with black archival ink on  watercolor paper and then painted with watercolors. I then added small portions of gold doily, beautiful  Gold Sweethearts Confetti sequins and Gold Sturdust sequins.

I splatter various colors, black white pink turquoise and gold, and as a final touch, I wrap randomly each butterfly with white thread and insert the stamped title by adding a little thick at the base.

Today it's thursday and it's my day @SpiegelMomscraps blog.
I found a new small passion and it's  for ATCs. Classic cards have always made me a kind of creative emptiness, but  it does not happen with the ATCs, not at all! I'm really enjoying it and this week I made two on the theme "Take a picture".
I still used white canvas on which I spread a layer of clear medium gel.The first layer I did is a stenciled one: i use a bright Shimmers paint, Dreamscicle; I continued with some watercolor paint. When  dried I use several stamps and washi tape.

On each of the ATCs I created a focal point using various levels of patterned paper, I added  some twineand on the top two wooden cameras from Studio Calico. I also added some sequins from Jack O Lantern mix ( perfect for Hallowen, but it fits perfectly with my color combo!). Finally the little titles: I stamped two different labels on the same patterned paper and then, on each, I attached "smile" and "say cheese" made with Dymo. ... I wrappedevery label  with the colored thread, I added below the thickness and I have applied on each card.

Have fun and let me know what you'll create.

xoxo
